Yellow Creek Falls – Nantahala National Forest, NC

The trail itself is primitive, but very easy to follow. It starts near the creek, but quickly curves up and gains around 200 feet of elevation, before curving back down towards Yellow Creek.

Though some rocks and roots lie across the trail, it’s a relatively easy walk. The only spot which could offer a bit of challenge is around the .1 mile mark. A tree lies over the trail and requires a short scramble over.
